Bill Youngkin has over forty years of civil trial experience with cases ranging from medical malpractice, oil well blow-out/damage cases, personal injury/death cases, multiple party suits (65 Plaintiffs/7 Defendants), involved construction, business, oil & gas and real estate title cases. In his career, he has had jury awards in the amount of $650,000.00 plus and settlements exceeding $1.8 million dollars. Mr. Youngkin has handled civil appeal cases in 11 of the 14 Courts of Civil Appeals, 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Texas Supreme Court. He is also licensed before the Southern and Western Federal District Courts of Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1969, served as an Army Officer in the 18th Airborne Corps in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and a tour in Vietnam. He graduated from Baylor Law School in 1975 and has practiced in Brazos County, Texas since 1976. He has served as the President of the Former Students Association at Texas A&M and as a past President of the Former Yell Leaders Association, Texas A&M University.

Matthew Doss joined the law firm in 2010.  Matt graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006, majoring in history with a minor in Spanish.  Matt obtained his law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas in 2009.  Matt is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Areas of Practice:  Oil & gas litigation and transactions; business transactions and litigation; real estate transactions and litigation; personal injury; construction litigation; wills and estate planning; and probate litigation.

Matt is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Oil & Gas Section); Brazos County Bar Association; Texas Aggie Bar Association; and Texas Young Lawyer's Association.

Matthew D. Sharpe joined the firm in 2015. Matt graduated from The University of Texas in 2006 and obtained his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas in 2009. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Areas of Practice: Business litigation, construction litigation, real estate transactions and litigation, oil & gas transactions and litigation, personal injury, wills and estate planning, and probates.

Matt is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Business Law; Consumer and Commercial Law; and Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law sections) and Brazos County Bar Association. He is on the Brazos Valley Community Advisory Council of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas. Matt was on the board of the Young Professionals of Aggieland for three years and has volunteered with many organizations in the community.

Born and raised right here in Bryan, TX, Cody is a product of Bryan High and Texas A&M class of 2005. After obtaining his law degree at the University of Mississippi in 2009, Cody moved back to Texas where worked as a landman before venturing into oil and gas law in 2010. After practicing in Fort Worth and Houston for a few years Cody came back home to Bryan in 2014 to open a restaurant and continue his law practice. Cody joined Youngkin and Doss in the summer of 2017 where he broadened his area of practice to include wills, probates, contracts, and civil suits.

Philip Rodriguez is an Associate at Youngkin & Doss and practices in the areas of immigration & nationality, oil & gas, real estate, contracts, and personal/catastrophic injury. Recognized as a leading immigration practitioner in the Brazos Valley area, Philip has represented clients before the Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS). Philip regularly provides competent representation in the areas of family-based immigration, permanent residency, citizenship/naturalization, non-immigrant visas, and removal proceedings. Philip is fluent in Spanish and has provided representation to clients from all over the world. 

Philip earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Before that, he graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas with a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing, and a minor in Economics. Philip worked in marketing and advertising for some time prior to heading off to law school. He is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. When not in the office, Philip enjoys spending his leisure time with his wife and daughter.
