Matthew Doss joined the law firm in 2010.  Matt graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006, majoring in history with a minor in Spanish.  Matt obtained his law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas in 2009.  Matt is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Areas of Practice:  Oil & gas litigation and transactions; business transactions and litigation; real estate transactions and litigation; personal injury; construction litigation; wills and estate planning; and probate litigation.

Matt is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Oil & Gas Section); Brazos County Bar Association; Texas Aggie Bar Association; and Texas Young Lawyer's Association.

Philip Rodriguez is an Associate at Doss & Rodriguez and practices in the areas of immigration & nationality, oil & gas, real estate, contracts, and personal/catastrophic injury. Recognized as a leading immigration practitioner in the Brazos Valley area, Philip has represented clients before the Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS). Philip regularly provides competent representation in the areas of family-based immigration, permanent residency, citizenship/naturalization, non-immigrant visas, and removal proceedings. Philip is fluent in Spanish and has provided representation to clients from all over the world. 

Philip earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Before that, he graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas with a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing, and a minor in Economics. Philip worked in marketing and advertising for some time prior to heading off to law school. He is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. When not in the office, Philip enjoys spending his leisure time with his wife and daughter.
